This 3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes takes you through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Morocco, including the High Atlas Mountains, ancient Kasbahs like Ait Benhaddou, valleys, and the Sahara Desert of Merzouga.
First, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, visit the famous Ksar of Ait Benhaddou, and continue to Ouarzazate, the Dades Valley, and the dramatic Todra Gorge. In Merzouga, you will experience a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and spend a magical night in a desert camp under the stars.
Our journey continues through the Ziz Valley, cedar forests, and the Middle Atlas Mountains, before arriving in Fes, completing an unforgettable Moroccan desert adventure.
Our journey begins in the morning from Marrakech; we will drive through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with its breathtaking views and Berber villages along the way. Next, we will visit the famous Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Ksar known for its ancient architecture and movie-making. After lunch in Ouarzazate, we will continue our drive to the Valley of Roses and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.
In the late afternoon, we will arrive in the beautiful Dades Valley, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night in a traditional hotel surrounded by mountains and rock formations.

After our breakfast, we will continue our journey toward the grand Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon with towering cliffs and a river running through it, perfect for walking and photography. After that, we will travel through Berber villages and desert landscapes before we reach Merzouga in the afternoon.
Here, our camel trekking adventure begins across the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, followed by a magical sunset view in the highest Sahara dune. In the evening, we will enjoy dinner, traditional music, and an overnight stay in a desert camp under the stars.

We will wake up early to enjoy a magical sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga village for breakfast. Next, we will start our journey north through the beautiful Ziz Valley, filled with palm groves and stunning desert views. After a lunch stop in Midelt, we will continue through the cedar forests near Azrou, where you will see wild Barbary macaque monkeys.
In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Fes, marking the end of our unforgettable 3-day desert tour.
