    Day 1Arrival in Fes

    Upon your arrival in Fes, our driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your traditional Riad in the heart of the old Medina. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a relaxing walk through the nearby streets of the ancient medina and experience your first taste of Moroccan culture and then spend the night in the Riad.

    Day 2Explore Fes Medina

    We will spend the day exploring Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and cultural capital. We will be accompanied by a knowledgebale local tour guide to visit the streets of the old medina, Al Quaraouiyine University, traditional tanneries, artisan workshops and the busy souks. Next, you will wander through the narrow alleyways and admire the city’s rich architecture and fascinating history and call it a night at the Riad in Fes.

    Day 3Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forests – Merzouga

    We will leave Fes and travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first Stop will be in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before we continue through the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques. Following that, our journey carries on through the beautiful Ziz Valley and its endless palm groves before arriving in Merzouga, the vast Sahara Desert. Upon our arrival, we will enjoy a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and witness a spectacular sunset before spending the night in a luxury desert camp in the heart of the Sahara.

    Day 4Merzouga Desert Exploration by 4x4

    After our breakfast, we will embark on an exciting 4×4 excursion around the Sahara Desert. First, we will Visit nomadic families, discover hidden desert landscapes, explore the village of Khamlia, enjoy traditional Gnawa music, desert oases and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the dunes. By the end of the day, we will return to our Riad with a swimming pool in Merzouga for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.

On the road, we will visit the traditional markets of Rissani, then continue through desert towns and palm groves before we stop at the magnificent Todra Gorge located near Tinghir and known for its towering canyon, Morocco’s most spectacular natural wonder.  Finally, we will arrive in Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay.
