The tour starts in Marrakech and crosses the High Atlas Mountains and majestic landscapes as well as traditional Berber villages. Along the way, our travelers visit the famous UNESCO site of Aït Benhaddou and continue through cinematic desert towns like Ouarzazate before reaching the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Valley.
From there, the journey continues to the Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon known for its towering rock walls, before arriving in Merzouga, the amazing Sahara Desert.
After the desert experience, the route continues north through the Ziz Valley, cedar forests with its wild monkeys, and the mountain town of Ifrane before reaching Fes.
Upon your Arrival at Marrakech airport, our team will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation in the old medina of Marrakech. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the nearby streets depending on your arrival time. Marrakech is a lively city where tradition and modern life mix. For instance, the old medina is full of narrow alleys, many souks, and historic architecture, while the new part of Fes ” Gueliz” is as modern as any other western country with its fancy restaurants, clubs and coffee shops. We will spend the night in a traditional riad in Marrakech.

After breakfast, we will leave Marrakech and drive across the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2260 meters altitude. Along the way there are panoramic stops overlooking Berber villages and mountain landscapes. The journey continues to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Aït Benhaddou, a famous fortified Kasbah used in many films. After visiting the site, our tour carries on to Ouarzazate, known for its film studios and desert gateway position. The road then passes through the Valley of Roses before reaching the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and canyon views. Our Overnight will be in Dades Valley.

The Todra Gorge is a massive canyon with rock walls that attract climbers from all over the world. After visiting the gorge and having lunch in the area, the route continues toward the desert through small towns and desert landscapes. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will meet your camel caravan; you will enjoy a nice camel trek into the dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset in the Sahara before we drop you off at the desert camp. Dinner is served in the camp followed by traditional Berber music under the stars and an overnight stay in the same well-equipped camp.

The late afternoon can include optional activities such as quad biking, buggy rides or sandboarding in the dunes. At nightfall, we will drop you off at a local Riad or camp depending on your preference.
