Next, we will visit historic and religious schools, traditional tanneries where they make leather goods, artisan workshops, and old town’s many souks and marketplaces.
Fes offers a fascinating glimpse into Morocco’s rich history and authentic traditions. After a full day of sightseeing in Fes, we will return to our Riad for the night.

Today we leave Fes and travel south through Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its European-style architecture, clean streets, and beautiful parks. We will continue our drive via cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains, where monkeys can often be seen.
Next, we will drive via Midelt and the majestic Ziz Valley, renowned for its vast palm groves and oasis views. In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Merzouga, where sand dunes of Erg Chebbi rise dramatically. Upon our arrival, we will go for a short camel trek across the dunes at sunset before reaching our desert camp in the heart of the desert. The evening will be filled with traditional Berber music around the camp fire, delicious Moroccan cuisine, and a magical night beneath the stars.

We will get up early to enjoy an unforgettable Saharan sunrise and take some pictures before we have our breakfast. Today’s adventure takes us deeper into the desert on a 4×4 excursion. During this 4×4 tour, we will visit nomadic families and learn about the Berber lifestyle. Next, We will explore the Mifis mines and the village of Khamlia, famous for its unique Gnawa music. In addition to that, we will also discover hidden spots, fossil sites, and peaceful oasis areas before returning to our accommodation in Merzouga village.

Later, we will continue our journey through the beautiful semi-desert landscapes before arriving in Dades Valley, where we will spend the night at a Riad near the valley’s rock formations and captivating landscape.

On the final day of our 8-day Casablanca tour, we will drive through the valley of Roses and continue to Ouarzazate. We will then stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous Kasbahs, featured in numerous international films and TV series such as “Gladiator”, “The Mummy”, and “Game of Thrones”.
Next, we will travel through the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we will enjoy panoramic views, dramatic mountain scenery and traditional Berber villages before arriving in Marrakech, where our 7-day Morocco Desert Tour concludes.
